The president of the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, Mrs. Anca Opre signed on Wednesday 27th August 2014 a Protocol of collaboration with the Romanian Association for Law and European Affairs (ARDAE). This protocol is aimed at the cooperation between the two parties in the legal field as well as on the public’s information with regard to the specific activities carried out by the two parties.

By signing this collaboration protocol, NSAPDP and ARDAE have convened on the following activities:

a) cooperation in organising scientific events – mainly, collaboration in organising public debates, seminars, conferences, round tables, training and specialization courses, carrying out studies, analysis, opinion polls, public information campaigns, as well as any other materials within the field of the defence of human rights; 

b) initiating and carrying out projects on promoting the activities of either one of the parties;

c) drafting papers, studies and carrying out scientific research, either jointly or upon request of one of the partners;

d) taking part in the events organised by the partner institution;

e)  any other activities the parties will find necessary  in order to achieve their purposes.

This is one of the ways in which the NSAPDP demonstrates its openness to collaboration with associations and organisations interested in the field of personal data protection.
