Resolutions adopted during the International Conference of the data protection authorities

In the framework of the 38th International Conference of the national data protection authorities 2016, 4 resolutions on aspects of real interest within the context of the current technologies were adopted.

Thus, under the conditions in which data protection in the educational sector and the impact of the development of artificial intelligence constituted the main themes of debate of the participants from numerous countries, the following resolutions were adopted:

• Resolution for the Adoption of an International Competency Framework on Privacy Education
• Resolution on Developing New Metrics of Data Protection Regulation
• Resolution on Human Rights Defenders
• Resolution on International Enforcement Cooperation.

This annual event highlighted the special implication of the national data protection authorities from different countries and their preoccupation for ensuring a real protection of the rights of natural persons.
