During the European Data Protection Board Plenary, held on 12-13^th of September 2022, in particular the Statement on the European Police Cooperation Code project, proposed by the European Commission, through which the enhancement of the cooperation in this field is aimed, was adopted.

In this context, we mention that, after the Plenary of the European Data Protection Board from July, within which the Binding Decision no. 2/2022, under Article 65 GDPR, on the draft decision regarding Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Instagram) was adopted, the Irish Supervisory Authority adopted the final decision through which it applied a fine of 405 million Euros.
