EDPB Plenary – 18.03.2026  

During the plenary session of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), held online on 18 March 2026, the EDPB-EDPS Joint Opinion  4/2026 on the European Commission’s proposal for a Cybersecurity Act 2 (CSA 2) legislative package, as well as on the proposal to amend the Directive on the Security of Network and Information Systems (NIS 2) was adopted.

The document welcomes the fact that ENISA’s opinion will be issued following a prior request from the EDPB, thereby ensuring clear coordination and a clear allocation of responsibilities.
