Guidelines adopted by EDPB
During the European Data Protection Board Plenary, held remotely on the 8th of October 2020, the Guidelines 9/2020 on relevant and reasoned objection under Regulation 2016/679 was adopted. (link document)
These guidelines aimed at clarifying the notion of relevant and motivated objection defined in Article 4 point 24 of the General Data Protection Regulation, in order to ensure an adequate application within the cooperation mechanism between the national data protection authorities, established by Article 60 of this Regulation.
