New guidelines adopted by EDPB

During the European Data Protection Board Plenary, held remotely on the 2^nd of September 2020, the following documents were, in particular, adopted:

• Guidelines 7/2020 on the concepts of controller and processor in the GDPR

This Guidelines aimed to clarify, from the perspective of the General Data Protection Regulation, the notions of controller, joint controllers and processor, key concepts in the application of personal data protection rules, related to the provisions of Article 4 of the GDPR and considering their role in establishing the corresponding obligations.

• Guidelines 8/2020 on the targeting of social media user

The document contains the presentation of concrete situation in order to be of real benefit to the companies in the context of the activity carried out.
