During the Plenary Session of the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) in September 2025, held online, the Guidelines 3/2025 on the interplay between the DSA and the GDPR (https://www.dataprotection.ro/servlet/ViewDocument?id=3031) were adopted, launched for public consultation.

In consideration of another European act, the EDPB adopted, in October 2025, Joint Guidelines on the Interplay between the Digital Markets Act and the General Data Protection Regulation, intended to increase legal certainty and business confidence.
