During the European Data Protection Board Plenary, held remotely on the 6^th of April 2022, a Statement of this body regarding the announcement of the new agreement in principle between the European Commission and USA on a Trans-Atlantic Data Protection Framework was adopted.

Also, with the same occasion, it was adopted a Letter to the European Commission, regarding the need to ensure the independence of the national supervisory authority for personal data from Belgium, by reference to some legislative amendments expected at internal level.
